2012 NCAA DIVISION II SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL TOURNAMENT HOME PAGE

WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- Nationally-ranked No. 29 and Great American Conference champion Southern Arkansas is set to open play in its fifth consecutive NCAA Division II Regional Tournament tonight at 7 p.m. against Angelo State at James R. Crane Stadium on the campus of the Unviersity of Central Missouri.

SAU enters the tournament as the No. 4 seed with an overall record of 36-15. SAU's opening round opponent, Angelo State, is the No. 3 seed and the automatic qualifier from the Lone Star Conference. The Rams sport an overall record of 40-15 and a No. 14 national ranking.

If SAU wins its opening round contest, the Muleriders will play at 7 p.m. on Friday. A loss would place SAU in the 3 p.m. loser's bracket contest.
