All six earned spots on the inaugural All-Great American Conference First Team. Finnegan was voted the league’s player of the year, while Shields was named the GAC pitcher of the year.

The ABCA accolades are additional all-region honors for four of the six. Sullins was recently named a first team all-region honoree from the National Baseball Collegiate Writer’s Association and a second team selection from Daktronics. Finnegan, Dahl and Capshaw all landed a spot on the NCBWA second team. Finnegan and Dahl joined Sullins on the Daktronics South Central All-Region Second Team.

Finnegan, Sullins, Dahl and Shields will now be eligible to earn All-America honors from the ABCA. Those honors will be announced in conjunction with the NCAA Division II World Series on May 27.
