The 2011 Great American Conference Volleyball Championship Tournament, hosted by top-seeded Arkansas Tech University, features the top eight teams in the league based on win-loss percentage in conference matches played during the regular season. The single-elimination tournament, hosted at Arkansas Tech's Tucker Coliseum (3,500), features four quarter-finals matches on Friday, November 11 and a pair of semi-finals matches on Saturday. The inaugural conference tournament champion will be determined in the finals on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
All seven matches of the 2011 tournament will be covered live and free of charge by the GAC Sports Network through an online webcast at http://greatamericanconference.com. Each webcast will include views from multiple camera angles, play-by-play and color analysis, and interviews with the league's head coaches and administrators. An All-Tournament will be announced prior to presentation of the championship trophy on Saturday.
For those attending the tournament, there is no charge for admission.
